Xoxo America!

It's been a great week! So great I don't want to scrap. Who wants to hang around in a tiny dark apartment when the weather has been so perfect?
THIS is what you do in great weather!
It's 4th of July weekend and we have no plans. Not having a car puts a great fat crimp in that department but the pay off is this- many humans have left New York City.  If you stay you can now enjoy a walk down Broadway without getting carried off by streams of harried workers. Or take the subway without wrestling people to get the baby carriage in and out the train car. We can even walk in and sit down at that cool restaurant that always has a long line in front of it - not that we can afford it but you get the idea. New York during 3 day holidays is AMAZING.
Water feature at High Line park has no one else wadding in it!
So I'll share a page that's been "in the works" for a while. This is my "first draft" for my July page for TRUE XOXO GIRLS! I forced myself to sit down and do this but didn't like the results after a couple of days. You can tune in on July 7th to see the final version or even better- join the fun!

  1. Too funny, my hubby's birthday is the 5th of July :) great month to be born!!! Do you find it hard to live with a Cancer? Mine is sweet but stubborn!

I love this page (but you knew that already.) the pics you shared are so adorable! love the sprinkler one...that's one of our favorite summertime activities. At least 5 days out of 7 are spent with sprinkler in action. Enjoy your holiday weekend!!

  2. Thank you Michelle! I am so excited to be working with you too! Let me just say that your layout is absolutely fabulous with those flowers, the whimsical clouds and the numbers. And your husband's card totally rocks! I love that line from October Afternoon. I just bought some of it the other day!

Happy 4th to you and your family! We don't have any plans either. It is miserably hot here. I think staying inside with th A/C is enough entertainment for me! ;)

  3. Happy 4th July!
LOVE what you have sone with the clouds here and the OA card is gorgeous. I have it but I am too afraid to cut into it at the moment!
I know what you mean about having a "staycation" during the holiday weekends. Used to love doing that once in a while in Toronto. Downtown on a long weekend was such a different place!

  4. Those sassafras foldies look lovely on your page. (I still hoarding mine.) And those stitches clouds are so trendy right now.

  5. Your photos are fabulous! I love your writing as much as your pages! Thanks for sharing :)

Ok peeps lets CHAT! You tell me what you REALLY think and I PROMISE to keep it open minded here.
