Thankfully I came to my senses and got to work. (YAY!)
Here are the results:
I have a second page I will save for later as this post will be more about my lack of scrappy organization. After 2 hours of scrap time my desk looks like this:
I am not ashamed! |
I do keep my Studio Calico kits together and organize my papers by manufacturer. The countless stamps, alphas and other embellishments are all kept in 12 by 12 boxes on my book shelf. Giving my books away was traumatic.
I know how it looks. I imagine the shuddering. I have stopped shopping for 2011. It will be hard when Summer CHA products come around. I've already spotted the new Pink Paislee Mistables Collection that will make it into one of my Pampers boxes. I just can't buy the whole collection like before.
Little steps people- little steps.
Look! It's Sassafras Lass' Sunshine Broadcast! |

What a fun layout! I love all the unique details...the masked butterflies with the outlined journaling, and that amazing photo!
ReplyDeleteBTW, your art desk looks better than mine. I have tons of space but I still can't manage to get it organized! As the saying goes, "creative people are seldom tidy."
I am so with you! I have a table set up and I will get it cleaned but end up scrapping on the floor because once I get all the stuff I'm looking through out I have no more room on the table! So pathetic! I absolutely love that layout...especially the journaling in the butterflies!
ReplyDeleteThis layout is amazing! I love how you've journaled inside the negative spaces of the butterflies!
ReplyDeleteAll I see is organized chaos! I wonder if the DIVAS like, the ones who get paid, have to fumble around for scissors? Do they keep their scraps, do they have to clean up their own mess? Ahh, I love paper...but I do not like putting it all away!
ReplyDeleteYou journaled around those butterfly shapes? You clever girl!
