I have a great visual story telling tip for you today:
When looking for scrappy layout ideas or inspiration, walk the local mall or streets in your town.
I keep a visual journal of scrap page ideas I get while walking around. Pinterest and galleries aside- many of my best ideas come from looking at store displays.

| The Gap's store window shows the latest neon and triangles trends but what I really liked were the easy to make flowers. Just cut paper into strips, pin the pieces together using a a brad and fan them out. Instant flower goodness! |
Your photos don't have to be perfect- they are literally just notes on the margin. As long as they make sense to you later they will be great for scrappy inspiration when your mojo is flagging.
